Ron thought I was crazy when I told him I was buying Sting. She had a bit of attitude problem and the kids were totally forbidden near her stall. But she quickly became one of the family and carried me to many championships and high point awards. She earned me my first AQHA All Around trophy and many AQHA Open, Amateur, and Novice amateur points. She had 4 beautiful fillies and we turned to her anytime we needed a trusted trail horse for guests or a quiet trail partner when riding out the colts. She was a big beautiful mare that showed all of us, when shown a little kindness and understanding, her gentle, kind and loyal disposition. We have been so lucky to have so many beautiful and talented horses. I miss you and Jack most of all.
